Education is the starting point for any S&OP improvement program. Very early in the planning project and again at the beginning of the transformation itself, an education program should be complete which encourages participation in design and implementation by all parties.

Education in the basics of DD S&OP and related processes will give the transition team the knowledge required to make a sold contribution in the transformation to becoming demand-driven and in the design of new management processes.
